Last night there was a huge thunderstorm at my house and a MASSIVE tree got entirely UPROOTED in the state land next door.

My pictures don't seem to do the scale of the tree justice, but it's really a giant, dude.

The last time there was a thunderstorm like this, one of the ancient trees by our pool got uprooted, fell and knocked off a small part of the roof. Thank God this time our house was fine, apart from it sounding like our house was under attack by gun fire as branches and random twigs were being kinda flung at our house by the wind with distressing force. Heng man.

Also, here begins my mugging for SATs. I bought the study guide today. I actually found it super easily. (Good times.) Unfortunately, I didn't realise HOW THICK IT IS. (Bad times.)

Also, when I was reading the introduction, I couldn't help but notice that it said, with regard to the essay section, that:

"blank essays, essays that are not written on topic, essays written in pen, or essays deemed illegible after several attempts have been made to read them will recieve a score of 0."

and while that's not unusual, it strikes fear in my heart because I hate being reminded that my sucky writing might get me 0 for my essay. :(
