Tonight, Grace was really nice and invited me to her young adult games night at her house. So much fun. Although I couldn't help but notice how highly intellectually stimulating their games in their house are. First we played Saboteur (or something to that effect) which involved miners trying to build their way to some gold nugget in some unknown location while being sabotaged by secret "saboteur", who have try to keep secret so they don't get stopped with random sabotage cards which involved you getting your lamp or cart or pick destroyed so that you couldn't continue building tunnels to either move towards or away from the gold until you got saved.

You get the general manipulation and high level complexity involved.

Then, we played Bang. Which was worse. There are actually so many different symbols and patterns involved in the game that every player gets a little card that has a legend on it. AND everyone gets a character with unique characteristics. AND besides your character you are also either an outlaw, the like head outlaw dude, the deputy officer or the sheriff. Then you can get shot, but you can only shoot as far as the range of your gun, and if you don't have a gun you can only shoot the people next to you, unless the person has a horse, then they're out of range, but even if they get shot they can miss the shot if they have the miss card, or they can drink beer to up their health, and the deputies and sheriff have to try to kill off all the bad guys while the bad guys try to make the sheriff slash deputies kill each other, after they figure out who the other bad guys are, although that doesn't always happen.

And I'm skipping past a lot of other cards here.

AND THEN, apparently there was another more (and I quote Grace) "fu zha" game called muchkins that we didn't get around to.

At my house, we own games like High School Musical Twister and Cluedo Jr. Haha.

Today, I cropped my hair as well. It may be a sign that I have slightly too much time on my hands when I decide I want to do something different with my hair every month. Lol. I feel a bit nostalgic. My hair reminds me of my P1 hair cut.
